About Coach Ed

Ed is a Graduate Sport Rehabilitator BSc and Strength and Conditioning Coach MSc with experience working with golfers, drivers, footballers, injured athletes, junior athletes and the general population. Ed graduated from St Mary’s University, Twickenham in 2021 with first class honours and merit in his respective degree courses. Within his time at university Ed completed internships with local treatment clinics, Crawley Town Football Club, Hayes and Yeading Football Club and the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team providing him a solid understanding of musculoskeletal injuries of the lower and upper limbs and how these relate to performance. Since graduating Ed hasn’t stopped learning, gaining certification for the Golf Performance Network and working towards his UK Strength and Conditioning Association.

As of March 2023 Ed has completed over 1300 treatment sessions with Rehab Train Perform so you can be assured you are in safe hands. He has developed a robust athlete performance pathway designed to improve the health and performance of anyone. Ed’s specialist areas include Physical Preparation for Golf, Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) rehabilitation and profiling for sporting performance.

Additional benefits of working with Ed include the access to his Vald Performance Forcedeeck force plates allowing for easy, quick and clear objective data. These are very hard to come by outside of a premier league football club due to their expense and knowledge of use. All clients have access to these with no additional cost for testing suitable to their requirements. These provide immediate objective feedback for tracking your progress whether this may be your maximal strength, jump height and asymmetries between limbs. This gives you the confidence your rehabilitation is detailed only for you and your requirements.

Ed offers training sessions at Profound Fitness a personal training only studio with multiple locations in the Surrey area. The Chobham and Mayford studios offer a private, limited capacity space to clients to train and receive treatment. They both have high quality equipment and flexible booking times and plenty of free parking. The Mayford studio benefits from a treatment room for consultations whilst the Chobham studio is larger with more free space for dynamic movements.

Sessions at home are a big part of Ed’s work. With the addition of flexible working times and working from home more people are wanting to train at home. This can be in your own gym facility or adapted to suit your equipment needs. Ed works in the Virginia Water, Sunningdale, Cobham, Surrey areas.
